The Palace Chandelier was created using a round shaped piece cut from the base of the flagpole which was used during the Scout Promise Renewal of August 1st 2007. This flagpole is made from firwood (softwood, coniferous tree) used in Canada for papermaking pulp, also as decoration during the Christmas holidays to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, Savior of humanity.
